As I’m getting older I’m finding I need less sleep.

Average 5 hours a night now no matter what time I go to bed then my body seems to make up for it and I’ll have 8 hours

I don’t mind but waking up most days at 4:30am is getting boring!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Good god 5 hours??

I need 9 hours at least! I'm always early in bed and sound asleep most nights! (I know - I sound fun at parties don't I?!)

Ha ha! Most of the time it’s ok, I don’t even get tired in the day but sometimes it’s frustrating! Not much to do at 5am especially when it’s dark!

As a perm night contractor I feel your pain, 5 hours is a good sleep, yesterday was 3 hours and probably won't sleep now until around 4am tomorrow. Penny on the other hand gets a solid 7 hours Monday to Friday and 9 hours at weekends. I envy her so much.

I wish I could get 5 solid hours every night! Insomniac since I was a kid, my brain is perpetually wired.

I feel your pain, I don't mind waking at 04.30 in the summer but it's pretty tedious when the dark mornings arrive.

But is suppose that's what fabs for.. Lol

Sat here eating toast after a 6 o clock dog walk up and down Martinsel.

Don’t like spending time in bed I could be using for experiences like that.

Depends on the time of year, I wake up as the sun breaks through. Summer is awesome, winter is not so much.

I’m a retired paramedic 40 years of getting up at 0450 and now I still wake up at 0500.

Even if I go to bed late

I get up for work at 6.30 in the week. Even when I lie in I usually wake by 7 and I’ve probably been up 3 times in the night..

I don’t know how you all survive! 8 hours for me. Straight through, no waking. I’d be there for about 15 if I didn’t set alarms. I love sleep

In the west.

I like to get up fairly early but if I have to get up for the loo during the night and can't get back to sleep I generally get up later, probably about 8:30ish.

To overcome that I try not to drink anything after 8pm.

London

I wake up before 7 in the morning without alarm. That means I have to fall asleep by 11. If not, I still wake up at 7 and my whole day is screwed because of sleep deprivation

I'm the same I like to wake up, realise I don't have to get up, roll over and go back to sleep
