Hypocritical as my profile is essentially nothing. I think if you're actively looking and want to meet people you put the effort in. Or you have a so so pair of tits and a cute smile and you don't have to worry. Such double standards, huh?

We've had ours as just afew sentences, we've had it seriously long. It makes no difference either way I've found, it isn't read by the majority.

Makes a great filter though. We take the time to read other people's so when it becomes apparent ours hasn't been read, we're likely to just not look at possibly playing with that person

This. Some people read mine and it is a conversation starter. Others tell me they can't be arsed. If they can't be arsed to read a profile then I assume they have a lackadaisical attitude to everything else too.

Oh hell yeah.

You could write 1000 detailed, thoughtful messages on here. Most will never get read and bulk deleted. I'd do it, but it's a fools errand here, I'm afraid.

Or you could put the effort into your profile and wait for women who are sick of bulk deleting to take a read. More importantly to me, proactively seeking what they want.

That and the possible natural spark of engagement on forums is what I've found to be the best and most interesting way to spend my time here. Reed that bends with the wind and all that.

I like reading profiles, does that make me strange. As long as they’re informative and not constantly ranting about time wasters, and putting up the copyright against the university paragraph.

I do t think mines to long, most people say it’s ok so I guess they read them too.

I always read the profiles before reaching out and only write to them when i am someone fit within what they expressed in their interests. I do write detailed message with an emphasis to what they are looking for too.
