Halloween Night

What's everyone up to on Halloween night?

I know some will probably have a night on the town or spending it at their favourite club but some like me will sadly have to work.

Usually when I'm not working on Halloween, I would just play a spooky game and then watch a good horror movie and that would be it. When I'm at work, I would dress up in whatever costumes I've got but this year, I don't feel like doing that so I'll just go to work in my usual work gear.

Nothing. It’ll be my second year of not trick and treating and I’m relieved. It’s cut throat out there when it comes to sweets!

Avoiding it all. Not that I hate halloween itself. It's the people I hate. Ignoring the trick or treaters - my dogs go crazy.

And remember! Doesn't matter if the kids don't want to, it's your night and they have to do what you say

Tonypandy.

I will be working, but taking time to celebrate Samhain, remembering loved ones and those that have passed.

I've taken the day off, as usual. I'll decorate the front of the house, turning it into a ghoulish cemetery. I have a new pop-up coffin to go with my old cardboard coffin this year. I'll rig up the back-projected ghosts in the upstairs window, and dust off the smoke machine.

My daughter will come home sometime during the afternoon, and as the sun sets we'll dress in something suitably spooky (I usually just throw a cloak over my normal clothes ), and we'll wait for the army of trick or treaters. We give out sweets and glowsticks. Once they've all gone home, we'll grab a pizza and watch some Buffy Halloween episodes before I run her back to uni.

I love Halloween.

I'll be watching some horror films for sure, I might go to the cinema in the afternoon if there's a decent one on.

I do put a pumpkin outside, it's the only time I encourage people to knock on the door .

As it's a Tuesday, I'll be having an early night as it's a school night.

Saturday night though, one of my bands is playing in Lincoln, and we'll be doing the full Fancy Dress experience.

I'm working throughout but in my evening job I get to dress up and get up to some shenanigans. Day off the next day so I'll be drinking in Highgate cemetery

We will just have a evening in watching horror movies and a bottle of wine after a meal so not much different to normal.

Got mum living with me now so i will let her deal with the trick or treaters because she enjoy's it.

Did not go too well with neighbours and me last year.

doorbell rung while i was in shower so i ignored it.I later saw my bins had been tipped out over the drive.

Thought kids will be kids and picked it up .

Was not until later i checked security cam and saw was not kids but one of the parents with them.

Ended up having words with him and not spoken since.
