Only recently got a repair on my favourite suede flogger after my butt broke it.
We've lost a few impact toys along the way. But we've also found some fabulous crofters who make some sturdier things "Can't say we have broken a flogger but they are all custom made by excellent tanners. She's broke one of my fav paddles, a couple of cane's and a few birches. I really want a Venator paddle next, no way she is breaking those things! If your in a sharing mood be great to hear where you buying from as we don't have the chance to get to BBB or LAM to go fun shopping at min. | |||

It was a good quality flogger as well, but the maker repaired it free of charge because it shouldn't have happened. The cheaper ones I don't mind so much when they go.
Whips and Sticks do a fabulous range of metal cored wooden bats, I can't see that one breaking before my arse. And I've got an order in with Big N Buff from when I met them at Townhouse because their work looks beautiful and sturdy | |||

Thank you " My long suffering partner drives us the three hours or so each way for that one. We live in the middle of nowhere too so it's at least an hour and a half each way to get to anything from my house. But it makes such a difference being able to feel a product before buying it. The rainbow bat I chose from whips and sticks wouldn't have been the one I picked online without feeling the different options first. And I was absolutely not expecting the actual weight and heft it has from the pictures I'd seen online first. And the Big n Buff piece I wanted looked almost exactly the same in the other leathers that were still available that day but the difference in the feel of it was immense, and it changed too much in the different sizes that leather was still in. I don't mind buying the odd cane or simple piece online, but anything proper I want to feel it first. It's well worth a trip out to the occasional kink market so you can get a feel for both the vendors and the products I think | |||

We used to use someone over in Durham to make ours, he only ever made them to order so you had a choice of hide, thickness, cut and what handle material you wanted. Sadly he's retired now he has made me everything from soft furry floggers, sharp cutting martinet's, dragon tails and everything in between but age is catching up with some of them and well I want new toys!! haha.
And to catch up on other comments, nothing like touching them! Kit that is of course, the weight in your hand, the handle or strap, feeling that it's nice and balanced for your swing. That's why we haven't bought any recently as won't spend that sort of money without getting our hands on. Jack's do make some lovely kit, when ever I need to replace the cane's I buy from him, also got his pocket whip which is much better for indoor play as only about 3 foot long. | |||
