Mine is marzipan. I bloody love the stuff. Aldi have their dark chocolate covered marzipan bars back in stock and after telling myself I'd just have a wee slice I have of course scoffed the lot. And there's still two months to go!

Paper Town Central, Essex.

Festive Wellington.

Like beef, but flattened turkey breast. Thin layer of cranberry. Layer of sirano ham. Layer of stuffing. Layer of beef.

All rolled up and encased in puff pastry then served with a smother of red wine gravy with lemon grass roast potatoes and medly of vegetables.

Could have it all year round but I save making it until Christmas.

My kids steer me away as I am an embarrassment apparently (the squealing!) but they do bring me so much joy! The beards, the bendy hats, the adorable stripy legs "

This is why I shop alone should have seen me when the Halloween stuff started coming out! Apparently I didn't need an awesome mug - I bought it anyway and it brings me joy every evening

" Christmas gonks

I had to get something at B&Q yesterday and they're the first thing I saw. I may have squealed a little.

I have so many Christmas gonks!! I even saw a 6ft one in a display a couple of years ago, I so wanted it!!

Jealous! I only have a few. I love ones with stripy legs

I have them dotted all over my living room. I have a Halloween one that stays out too

I was also eyeing one in the shop the other day but managed to resist - I'm so strong go me

I wish I was that strong I'm upto 14!! can't resist em!

It was only cos I'd bought one on Sunday

I crochet them. Little ones that sit on the mantelpiece or on the tree

On that front, I'm quite partial to their festive slice.

My son was pulling me away from them in TK Maxx, but I still got one! (Must go looking for a Halloween one now )

Yeah I get told I don't need anymore by people who just don't understand the joy they bring to my soul

I do hanker after some of the stuff in the shops!

Don’t know what it is but the smell of mulled wine candles or air fresheners is what I love about Christmas

North West…

Not sure I’d say it’s a weakness but I enjoy a port and cheese offering, or I’d consider a baileys I guess. And if someone offered those to me in July I’d ask them to repeat the question
