This has always confused me and something I just cant get my head around.

Yes, I know what it means but find the use of it rather bewildering.

Drugs and disease free....so drugs, so does this mean someone whos addicted to drugs, like a heroin or crack addict or someone who maybe smokes the occassional joint or once took an e in a club in 1990?

I think unless you was the first option (an addict) you wouldnt be able to tell if they were or they could simply lie. Plus you could tell from the pictures if they were addicts and I think an addict would have sold their computers by now and be out robbing instead of being on fab or another swinging site.

I can understand why people wouldnt want sex with a needle sharing junkie but putting a D in a abriviation does nothing to prevent this.

Now disease.....obviously the big one is HIV but thousands of people are walking around with it and dont even know and much is the same for the other sti's. Unless you have a big coldsore or a mushroom growing out of your genitals of course...

and again, people could lie. The second D in this funny little statement is not a binding contract. If someone wants sex bad enough, they will tell you their mother is the virgin mary.

Of course health is important and everyone needs to protect it but dont rely on putting a "must be d and d free" to acheive this.

Happy fucking people x

It's a bit like when people say they are 'genuine'.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It is fairly meaningless and I ignore it. I take prescription drugs and have an autoimmune disease. Neither of these things means I am unsafe to have sex with but, strictly, it would be a lie to say I amd D&D free.

(She/ her) in Sensualityland

I dont get that statement either. I mean being D & D free means that (on the "disease free part) somebody WAS D& D free on a particular day some time ago when they were tested. In between the result for infections and today they could have contracted anything and might not be aware of it. As for the drugs... you still have to rely on their honesty...
