i prefer homemade, but always have to sieve mine lol, i used to like the oxo instant gravy, but never see the jars now.

I will confess to having used Bisto for a base gravy and then added red or white wine, sometimes a bit of Worcestersauce, sometimes a bit of Sherry or Port... , cream, creme fraiche (Not all at teh same time) and the results have been lovely.

use it with the veggie water and its ok but you cant beat the gravy off a roasted chunk of meat
