None of this truck or treat bollocks!

Actually is not that great anymore. Getting hoards of people all together banging on your door is not pleasant.

Yep a swede hollowed out here too. That was bloody hard to do mind!

Although we did do trick or treat around my village.

Nobody mentioned Halloween until the day though. No shops full of it in August for example.

Tbf I did expect an older age when I clicked your profile from your post.

I was intrigued and had to do a quick Google search - it goes as far as the 16th century?

Why has no one said apple bobbing?

I have no idea why that’s a Halloween thing. Something to do with witch bobbing?

Yes it is all a bit of fun and nothing wrong with that at all. The main thing I personally dislike is when you get large groups of them on your doorstep, banging on the door. That is not fun in my opinion and I had some of them doing that in the past and quite late. That is no right for anyone and has nothing to do with anybody's age

Paradise, Herts

I’m sure trick or treat was a thing when I was little. I’ve never liked Halloween though. Even now I don’t.

"Around the turn of the century."

That still sounds weird, 23 years in
