No, not a metaphor lol

But I made a roast today ( yes I’m aware it is in fact Monday ) but I was especially pleased with my honey roast parsnips.

What have you done today that you are pleased with?

Try adding some lime juice to honey roast parsnips for even more zing. Enjoy

My carrots are always sliced, and then put in a saucepan with salt, pepper ans garlic and then honey, no water.

Cook then slowly until they are slightly caramelised

I’m proud of them haha

Give u all a laugh we in rome with my sister and 2 grown up neices decided we go to Vatican ! One of neices puts it in sat nav to walk there! Only took us to a hotel called Vatican! Walked bloody miles! X

lol thought this was deffo code for something filthy, can't beat a good ol Sunday/Monday roast! tatties an all the trimmings

I've not smacked anyone in the gob or swore at anyone today so I'm pleased with that!! as it's been a annoying, tiresome day

Oohh a roast would have been lovely today!!

I'm pleased I used a day off work to a benefit by doing a wash and hoovering even though I feel like crap!! I'm also pleased I made stew yesterday and left some in the fridge for dinner tonight so no effort required!

Roasted Salmon Side with Nandos lemon and herb sauce, and sweet potato fries.
