"For being busy? Just how a available are you Once you're in from work, done dinner etc? What do you of an evening and how much do you socialise or go out on a school night?" Being married is a pretty solid excuse, I find. A reason, even. Not an excuse. But that said … it’s weeknights that I generally socialise anyway. And meet for socials. The weekends are the times I stay home.

"Most of the ones I know don't actually go anywhere, once they get home (week nights) they might go to the gym/pub/grub on the way home but then that's them for the night. They're all on whatever gaming console/watching Netflix/flaked on the sofa." PS5, watching it's always sunny, stroking the cat. Free to bang though!

We very, very rarely can get childcare and we have, on occasion, been let down at the last minute by the few people we can ask to help us. We are not blessed with grandparents living nearby who are involved in our children's lives. We can't meet for weeks and weeks or even months.
