What jeans should men wear

couple, us we him her.

More importantly what Jean's look good on a bloke my age.

I'm a big guy but not fat used to be fit and muscular just a bit softer these days with a little tum.

But it's really tricky getting jeans that don't make me look like GRU from despicable me if going down the skinny route.

Or loose fit that hangs off my ass and look scruffy and don't show off my nice round ass.

Age appropriate clothing is difficult I want to look good without looking like I'm having a mid life crisis.

I had a pair of diesel jeans a few years ago that fitted really well but are too expensive these days.

I heard excellent reports about F and F denim (Tesco). Apparently their jeans compare very well to Levi's

When I bought my first pair of Levi's aged 13 there was one style available as farbas I was aware. They were button fly, shrink to fit and everyone looked pretty good in them. The denim seemed thicker and more hard wearing too, I think those jeans lasted about ten or more years.

Oh crikey yes I remember having to wear them in the bath so they shrink to fit you.

Me too. I'd been wearing Levi's since 1971 and was well able to appreciate Nick Kamen by the time he washed his. I guess it would be considered as objectification now

That song is one of my all time favourites too

My mum got so mad at me because it stained the bath . It was daft really because just washing them would have achieved the same effect

Genuinely think the answer is almost none look good on most of us past a certain age. Well some may look ok but can look far better with something that is more tailored. I just restrict jeans to messing around in the garden or with the car.

I'm going to disagree with you. Certainly ill fitting, baggy jeans look good on nobody, stretch denim has a lot to answer for. A decent pair of nicely fitted jeans, paired with a white tee shirt (that also fits properly) is a joy to behold on a man of any age...

Aaaand one, two, three... you're back in the room

lol maybe I've just struggled to perfect my Nick Kamen look Actually looking back I've never been a huge jeans fan and not t-shirts either. I think I look better in a good polo shirt with a bit more shape. Actually think I might have been 55 when I was 20 so best I refrain from any further jeans comment

As with almost any clothing cut and fit are the most important elements
