Where I am we got off quite lightly. But elsewhere it looks pretty bad.

So, are you all safe and sound?

The Town by The Cross

Yes thank you Stanley. I had sheet rain 24/7 yesterday but I had my french doors wide open because the sound was mesmerising and the air was warm. We had strong wind in the afternoon - brolly bending but not Granny Flattening. Compared to Brechin it's not worth a mention.

Glad you are safe.

Stoke area

A journey that usually takes just over 2 hours, took me 4 hours yesterday and it wasn't pleasant. I passed 3 accidents due I guess, to poor visibility and the surface water.

Many of my friends couldn't get here as trains into Sheffield were all cancelled due to flooding/ landslide
