When I've been reading the forums lately I've noticed an increase in newer profiles asking why is it taking so long to meet. Its made me ponder

Are they recommended to join by established profiles that dont explain fully how the site can be?

Are they drawn to the site because word of mouth says its a quick fuck site?

I ponder a lot with this insomnia

In the 4 years I've been using the forums there have always been lots of those threads. In fact I would go so far as to say there are less now than there used to be.

It's really all about different degrees of expectation.

Someone here over a year without any luck who starts a thread asking those questions usually gets told to work on their profile and their approach.

Those here a few weeks asking those questions get told to work on their expectations.

I don't know the answer but I suspect it's the latter tbh.

I found this site cause someone on fabguys said that they were verified here on their profile so I checked it out and thought I'd give it a go.

That said I joined under no illusions lol, I have learned from dating apps to expect an awful lot of no before finding the right yes.

Sometimes I think they are told by their mates to join as all the women on here are desperate and gagging for it, then they soon get bitter and disappointed when they find out that isn't the case.

Orrrrr they read a newspaper article about fab and all the sexual shenanigans, and think I want me some of that.

We've been here for around 12 years and can't really see any difference, people have always asked why they can't get a meet or a message reply..

We very rarely reply to these forum messages because most (not all) get loads of great advice and very rarely change anything.

Fab used to be a niche site and wasn't well known. Now everyone knows it exists and there has been an explosion of people that use it as a quick hook up site or think it is solely this sex site.

Everyone uses it differently but yes I think it's word of mouth and the mouths are saying the latter.

There have always been people that moan they cannot get a meet. It is overrun with those people now. So many are joining all the time.

I mean that’s how I joined over 12 years ago was a supposed well established person told me to join I be drowning in pussy by the weeks end

And that was before it got media sensationliest

And why I say supposed he tell us all these stories off his fab atventers on fab and clubs and such

And in my 12 years and as “high profile” (ha ha no I don’t think I am but probably people out there think I am ha ha) as I am I have yet to trip over his profile even ones

It’s because fab is probably the hardest of any app/online meeting platform to get a meet by a lot

Even in the apps you can get a match and a reply

Most message for guys on here go unopened. Not even a reply

The sites just not great for average guys, we outnumber women 100 to 1 and even a blank profile for women gets 100s of messages a day

This makes the site frustrating and confusing for normal guys

But it also makes it worse for women, because most quality men aren’t going to hang around long when there’s better alternatives. That’s why you see so many women and couples struggling to find good meets.

If you make meeting extremely difficult for men, the good ones go elsewhere and the ones you have left are the ones desperate enough to stay

Yes I see one everyday and if one isn't posted someone else like a couple or single women post for advice.

But I never see single women or couples getting blasted maybe they have been and I missed it as it is so rare.

I have questioned what it is all about as if people are sick of it then why reply just ignore, and block as these men state happens to them.

But instead I notice regular posters on those kind of threads to gang up and demean, insult and call those posters names, as soon as I realised this is a regular thing I realised that I wouldn't want to meet anyone off here as the advert says I might well get butchered for being a single guy.

So photos gone in fact profile hidden as I realise that what I had been doing before worked so I went back to that, and just use the forums now and forever more.

I don't think there's been an increase as such, as Reality said above they've always existed.

I do think far too oft those sorts of threads descend into a vulture fest of picking apart someone who is clearly frustrated and upset.

Why does it happen? People aren't aware of the ratios. Other sites people receive acknowledgment, even if it's a clear swipe of no. Fab is spoken about in the media, probably with people as being somewhere you can easily find all the non-monogamous sex you could want. It must be disheartening to feel ignored, unwanted, whatever other descriptive term you can conjure.

So when people are low they come on to the forums. Seeking advice because sometimes they genuinely can't see what's wrong with their approach or Fab. The fact people gleefully tear them apart for 170 plus posts means those threads are more likely to stick in your mind.

Every guy I’ve spoke to about fabs has the same comment. “Don’t bother, pointless”

Dunno who these guys are going around telling everyone that fab is easy sex. They’re either a god with women or just lying?

I appreciate all the posts but I was leaning towards newer profiles, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 weeks old. Profiles where their first interaction is isn't asking for profile advice, it's subject is about meeting.

It's deluded expectations of joining fab, thet here 'swinging' carry a misconception that were all really hungry, thirsty amd greedy. And will be knee in clunge/cock by tea time.

Truth is fab, is one of the hardest sites to get sex on, that's if your using fab alone for meets
