I always have my pen knife in my handbag. It's chopped up kids food, fixed my car, generally useful in lots of ways.

And not a lock knife either.

This is a genuine one from Bella - I shit you not!:

Avoid getting dog shit on your shoes by putting a layer of tin foil on the soles. Then, hey presto, when you get home, simply put the tin foil in the bin.

We read this in a dentist's waiting room. We fuckin' wet ourselves.

GENTLEMEN. Upon leaving your favourite adult store into a busy street, affect an expression of utter shock, just in case.

COUNCIL highway departments. Save money erecting warning signs on dangerous bends. Simply sellotape a bunch of flowers to a nearby lamp post instead.

NEWLYWEDS. Act in a surreptitious manner from the start of your marriage so as not to attract suspicion when you do have an affair.

DON'T THROW away old string vests. Nailed to the walls outside they make an excellent trellis for climbing plants.

A few top tips out of viz

The best bit of advice I was ever given came off the side of a matchbox!!!

"Keep away from children!"

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Always pack a full change of clothes in your handluggage in case of delayed or lost bags.

This one has stood me in good stead many times - I am the queen of lost luggage.
