Fab access on 3 mobile network

Hi Fabsters.

I have just moved onto the 3 mobile network from EE. Tried to check out fab this morning and for some reason I couldn’t. I have changed all the settings to allow adult content and can now log in but there is zero imagery on the site. Again checked all the settings and nothing amiss. Only an issue on the 4/5g side of things.

Having searched the forum I see potentially I have to download another browser. If this is the case can anyone share the best browser for IOS.

Try hard resting the iPhone

Quickly press and release the Volume Up button

Then

Quickly press and release the Volume Down button

Then

Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears, then release the Side button Aka power / lock button

iOS is notorious for forcing all browsers to use the WebKit rendering engine (basically, this means all browsers are just reskinned Safaris).

I think it's unlikely changing browsers would help. I'd always recommend Firefox regardless of platform though - it's the best mainstream browser.

Potentially an adult content block

Not sure in 3 but Vodafone I had to go into settings in the account and activate that I allow it

I have 3 as network operator, they do block such sites like this one. I've been to an phone shop get the settings changed

Even then Google can be iffy so I use Opera browser which is handy for me as I can put vanilla stuff on Chrome and spicy stuff on Opera!

Had a similar issue on o2, I couldn’t access fab if I was on mobile data rather than wifi. Adult restrictions were off but still wouldn’t work, downloaded a free vpn and it works fine now

I’m with Three mobile and you can never seem to see the pics on Fab unless you download a VPN

I’ve noticed just going into private mode on your internet mitigates the adult block they sometimes put on sites

Thanks for the advice everyone. Solution seems to be a VPN or a different browser like Oprah.

All the content filters are removed so shouldn’t be an issue there but I will double check them again.

Just contact them. I'm on smarty which is 3 and they fixed it
