What’s made your day today (Weds)?

For me, taking a break at a services I went for a walk round the back of the hotel.

A buzzard no more than 15 yards away sat watching me from a tree before limbering into the air, steadying himself and soaring away. In my world of motorways and industrial estates, a glorious interlude.

What’s made your day?

Staffordshire

I popped into the supermarket this afternoon for some bread, milk, fruit, cereal, cakes, cheese, yoghurt, butter, toilet roll, fizzy pop, crisps, salad, frozen chips, frozen haloumi strips, frozen chicken portions and some butter.

I’d remembered to take my own bag.

Videos from a man I can talk to freely with no judgement and he'll offer me his perspective and a good one at that. I like how he talks.

Managing to fix the leaking kitchen sink waste pipe without buying any tools or parts...

Old motorcycle inner tube, scalpel blade and a bit of swearing...

Oh and I rescued a hedgehog!

Some woman keeps sending me nudes. Not complaining though.

Best thing about the day? I had a 4 hour nap.

Just been out for food with the kids, that made me smile. We’ve laughed and chatted and had such a lovely time

A response from someone I here that I had written off. Who knows if anything will come of it, but always good to start a conversation

Still my pre work swim and chat with a new friend. I didn't think that would remain the highlight tbh.

I got a new fluffy robe and it is amazing. I am so cosy. So warm. Its like being wrapped in a cuddly cloud.

Being warm is the best feeling

Near Clacton

Had a sort of good day, I drove 45 minutes from home and came back with my brand new car.. At last, I ordered it back in March, but apparently there has been a long wait for the electronic giggling pins that fit in the Fu Fu valves.

Got home parked it tidily and proudly on my drive ,, then it pi$$ed down with rain on it lol.

Probably detangling my hair and oiling my scalp. Or playing doctors and nurses with my daughter. Been a very mentally draining work day.
