Any other vegans on Fab?

Would be interested to know.

Mrs likes an occasional sausage and the only meat Mr eats is pussy.

Glasgow / London

I’m not vegan but the mention of an occasional sausage made me laugh. So thank you.

Right behind you…. Boo

I’m presuming like all good vegans, while she may toy with a sausage, she doesn’t swallow?

I’m not vegan but I do try to have a more plant based diet than meat. The problem I find is that the fake meat products are very highly processed. So while having a good protein content there isn’t much else going for them from a health perspective.

A whole world of Shit.

How do you know someone is vegan? (Apart from looking like they've less vitamin D intake than Dracula)

They soon introduce themselves as vegan

Likewise

I only eat wild game (venison etc - I even get it for free at times)

I won't eat that processed meat crap

This for me also. I tried veganism during a bit of a militant phase - now I eat a bit of everything, incorporating lots of (low cal) plant based kefir

Doesn't surprise me,not PC to donate pheasants but PC to turn them away from hungry people.

Virtually carbon neutral/net zero game birds, low fat,not processed, but it never gets mentioned.

It's the same with venison.

Often I can pay less than £20 for a whole carcass & sometimes even for free (but I always offer enumeration) & all trained hunters with a 5/5 food hygiene certificate. But the masses don't want it!
