It’s the 6th monthly reminder!

As we’re in a group of people that had more sex than others with different partners, we should have regular tests, it’s very much part of the ethical bit of enm!

A quick google will bring you to your free service on the NHS. It’s free it’s easy, what’s not to love

Let’s be the change we wish to happen.

Post below when you’ve ordered!

Some areas are different but there will be some provision! I believe free testing is every three months! I’ve got a few months to wait till my next test!

I personally have a kit waiting to use tonight!

I am not due to get one at the moment but it was your post last month that reminded me that I had ordered it but not done it.

Took me a bloody hour and 4 fingers to get enough blood but it came back clear

I’ve got my SH:24 kit here ready, I’ll get the samples at lunchtime, 2 mins for swabs and pee and 1hr trying to get enough blood

Lots of different advice for how to get blood, for me I find windmilling my arm for a minute helps, also making sure you’re hydrated!

I test monthly. You can get test kits posted to you at home, send them off then get the results back by test. Quick n easy. To get the blood sample, yes, soak your hands in hot water for a minute then kind of milk the blood down your arm. Than the finger prick.

If you’re not on prep yet, maybe todays the day to take that forward as well? Much better safety record (for hiv only) than condoms

My last check was September 8th.

I tried the day before on a walk in clinic but they had hit their quota and I got an appointment the next day instead.

Soak your hands in warm/hot water first. Or have a bath. Then milk the blood down from the top of your arm to your fingertips in a warm room. Then prick your finger and collect

Try keeping your hand in warm water for a while before doing the pin prick; also do it on your right hand.

Worked for me with doing my T level test (got next to nothing from my left hand)
