I need advice

Jump to newest

The life improving, life enhancing but nothing too ambitious or expensive variety. I asked the people I love already (“who are you?” Wasn’t the answer I was expecting but I felt it was said with love).

I’m apathetic about change, don’t want a tv in my bedroom, and have the attention span of a mayfly that woke up late on it’s one day of life.

Hit me with your advice. I need it. I’m worth it.

I want it.

Carlisle usually

The only life enhancing thing I found useful was taking time to recognise what I'm worth and what I actually want.

Which eventually lead to choosing to do the annoying thing to improve things for myself rather than basking in the apathy. But it did take time to get there

Brecon

Develop an inner monologue that says "fuck you, motherfucker!" Very loudly in your head whenever anyone irritates you, before you smile and calmly interact with them, the inner zen-like state you fall into is great.

Or...

Whenever anyone is getting on your tips, just say "There We Are Then" (add the first letters of the words together)...bliss!

Emotional healing. I highly recommend Melanie Tonia Evans’ NARP, but it doesn’t seem to appeal to everyone. Whichever path works for you.

If I make finding a new, easy and cheap hobby my hobby it’ll be even easier and cheaper. Just can’t commit to a hobby or my cheap hobby won’t be my hobby anymore.

When you're asking for advice, it's sometimes helpful to be more specific about what it's in relation to

Both then

Just slay queen, remember your a 10/10 and no one deserves you, your the best, change nothing, everyone else is the problem

But also remember to stay disciplined, find the problems in your life and work hard on the solutions. Hit the gym, work hard, stay focused. Improvement starts with yourself and takes discipline. Keep at it king

East London

I felt better with twinkly lights on my standard lamp in my living room.

Also, brushed cotton duvet cover when it gets cold.

Nice socks.

Things with butterflies on I can look at occasionally.

I acquired a very sexy man over a decade ago who inspires me to keep going. I do wish he would complain about my weight though, to give me a little more inspiration to lose some.

Small things make me happy, and then I can deal with bigger things.

Join a choir.

Do free stuff your council puts on.

Remind yourself you have the gift of life and others had theirs taken too early.

Smile for the sake of smiling, and don't be afraid to cry now and then.

I think you’ve got shit pretty sussed to be honest.

But general advice :-

Don’t take free advice.

Trust no-one and never break anyone’s trust.

Hold yourself to a high standard.

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Never give more than you can afford - whether that be money, time or emotion.

Spend time with people who make you happy.

I lost one of mine a few years ago and I'm adapting slowly.

The Town by The Cross

Know this.

I enjoy your posts.

I have viewed your pictures more than once or twice.

I like them because I see individuality, strength and beauty.

BUT - this maybe what you are attempting to portray to the world but it is not your inner self nor does it show what you are dissatisfied with. ( if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of you )

1. Never accept advice from someone who has never had the experiences you have had or the experiences you seek.

2. If you accept that you and I have at least a human experience to share - my advice would be this .....

Write down several things you like about yourself ( gut reaction no deep thought ) Do the same for maybe 3 things you do not like about yourself , maybe a few more but ffs dont labour it until you hate you )

Then look at your 'don't like' list and separate them into what you can change and what you can't.

Select ONE thing from what you want to change and think of some small way to start the changes. DONT TRY to change it all at once.

It may be something simple like realising you don't let people know how much you think of them and you may decide to say a pleasant thing to someone close to you each day ...... or pay it forward with a stranger.

Don't let your memes be dreams.

When giving someone advice, always finish with "idk tho bro", that way you cannot be held liable if you were mistaken and ended up ruining their life.

Do not breathe underwater.

You are welcome for receiving my advice. And now, I dissapear.
