Wondered if any walking / hiking loving swinger's be interested in social group for going out on the trails, hills and mountains.

Nothing to be expected other then chat and banter.

If people get on then perhaps arrange a weekend away. Day in the outdoors, evening in the pub and who knows ??

Merseyside

Like a good walk in the countryside, lots of interesting historical things to find and explore.

Be good to have a group in the northwest.

I met my best two walking friends on Fab. We’ve had some brilliant days out and weekends away.

I’m always in the hills, and have been a walk with someone off the forums. Also it’d be a good day out as a group hike

Belfast

I was in a fab hiking group about 5 or 6 years ago.

There were probably between 40 and 50 members but less than 10 of those actually went on any of the walks and the group closed after 5 months.

People signed up and then complained that the walks were in the wrong part of the country and they couldn't drive or that they were always working on a Sunday or the walks sounded too strenuous.

There were at least 50 others who joined and left within days saying they had no idea there was going to be actual walking involved.

They fully believed it was just a way of organising group shags and were sorely disappointed.

I know the general consensus reading this will assume that those who left were all men but in truth it was a 50/50 split.

The other issue I had with it was the fact that so many turned up wearing dress shoes and their Sunday best to hike up a mountain and expected others to take responsibility for their safety.

Good luck to anyone organising a hiking group but be prepared for lots of issues.

I live on the edge of the peaks. Love walking, so I'd be interested.

Braintree

I love my hiking, alas I live in the south and have to travel long distances for decent hills and scenery.

That said I do visit Scotland a fair bit and I'm happy to drive long distances.

I'd be interested.

Would people be comfy with a WhatsApp group or suggest another platform or website to use to set up a group to arrange

I go out around Newcastle every weekend. I find walking very therapeutic. I would love to join others. I walk in male mode.

I love walking too. Great for my well being. In the north east we are spoilt for choice with walks in the area.

Warrington have a walking day, that basically involves 200+ plus people hitting every pub on the way to town. Always messy.
