Coventry

I've put the heating on for the first time since last winter. The little bit of Yorkshire in me has given way to the complaints of the children

(But we'll stick with 16.5°c for now, compromise )

The Town by The Cross

Well if you are going to do a heating thread.....

Can I warm my house if I put my boiler down to 40 or 50 ?

And will it save money

Cos I have it at 60 now but it's never on

So would having it at 40 or 50 take longer but cost the same

Or take longer and cost less.

Over to you Gary Gasbags.....???

If it gets cold, I just pop a hoodie, joggers and thic socks on, I don’t think I’ve ever put heating on in my room

Bexley

Electric blanket only so far, although yesterday morning the bedroom fan heater came on of its own accord at about 5.30am.

I soon put a stop to that but the worrying thing was that the thermostat was only set for 3°C so the room must have got bloody cold overnight!

All over

Had mine on for last few days tbh as has been cold. Around 19°. I think we will all feel the cost this year even more with no support, prices not coming down. Noticeably nobody talks about it anymore as we had the summer respite but I am sure lots of people will feel the impact of the big bills again.
