How could you go that wrong….sounds like you’ve ended up in London when you wanted Manchester ….or actually in the climate of today….Liverpool instead of Manchester

The boards literally tell you which platform the trains start from, the destination, and all the stops in between.

Or, ask one of the staff at the barrier x

Follow your nose. I do when I am not sure about switching platforms or which end I need. Or just ask staff. Shame sat navs on phones do not tell you.. You took wrong end need to go up this way.

I did once get on wrong train and tubes its like spaghetti junction. You get used to 2 platforms only London gets me lost.

Am sure the men of fab would rescue a damsel

Train cancelled to Leeds yesterday, train from York to home cancelled today, rebooked then that was delayed so missed connecting train home. Waited for an hour for next one and one man and his dog was on, shouty sweary d*unk people add to the mix my youngest who’s on the spectrum and he really couldn’t cope, it was just awful for him
