I'm not one, but what an incredible night for those little shining things up there. Have a peep if you get a chance

I took the dog for a walk an hour ago and I always look up on a clear night. However, I didn't see anything tonight apart from Orion itself. Quite annoying as it was always too cloudy for me to see the Perseids this year.

I'm now well disappointed; no Orinids and no northern lights. Although I'm in a light-polluted town near a city I'm right next to a nature reserve with no artificial light.

What is everyone looking at? What direction?

I'm gutted I missed it. I'm on the edge of Swindon so I struggle to get the full beauty of a dark night.

The night sky is amazing!

Not seeing it properly is one of the worst things about living in a big city

Say that again?

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Worthing

Colder weather is best as less heat haze. I have a Skywatcher scope.
