If you have the worst house you can keep yourself to yourself and probably not be bothered.

The worst house on the best street.

You can always sort out your own house over time. You can't manage or sort out other people/other houses that are not yours whatever it is your wanting fix.

I recently met an old aged couple who moved from east London and bought their house about 40 years ago, they live in a street where property sells for well over a million pounds just so the buyer can pull down the house there and build their own modern mansion ……. They love the fact that they live in the same house, they love having parties/barbecues and inviting all of their old pals to spend the weekend, just because they enjoy winding up the “tasteless posh gits with more money than sense” …….. so….., having seen how much enjoyment they get, it thinks I’d enjoy the worst house on the best street
