I just wanted to ask a question. I fully appreciate that ladies on the site probably get tons of messages to trail through.

I do wonder why if they have read a message and they are not interested why they wouldn't just delete message or block user . I totally get that you wouldn't always send a reply.

Thats is more the thought I would have imagined, but if it isn't then there is a big red delete button on screen if there is no interest . I think it just makes things clearer and I can usually delete and block too so that I don't accidently message later.

I have put in messages "please delete so it's clear you aren't interested"

And it gets read and not deleted and not replied too. I know no response is a no, but it's no extra effort to delete.

The aim of a message is hopevully be start of a conversation, so sender delete it and lose track of what they said. Plus to delete the sender would have to switch to sent item screen to do that. Its like saying I could delete it but why should i, the sender shud do everything maybe?

Occasionally I snap and send off a message, reigniting the fires of hope only for them to burn fleetingly and extinguish themselves soon after.

Stay strong and know your place in the grand order of things.

I am sure that there are plenty of nice women on here too. I do just wonder if is a purposeful act or that there are many clogged up message queues due to

oversight crying out for a bulk delete.

Do not use the term "nice". The women don't like it. "Nice" is too insipid and lacklustre. Consider them all exceptional and urbane. It won't improve your chances but it will do your credibility a world of good.

These delightful creatures are best avoided.

This is just me, but when my filters are set and I haven't asked for no messages, if I do receive a message and its clear my profile hasn't been read, I will delete. If I then receive a 2nd then it's clear to me they haven't taken the hint that I don't want to reply and I will delete and block.

If I read a message and I'm not interested I do try and reply to make it clear then I'll delete the message. Only block if they keep hassling me

I concur. There are no "nice" women to be had here. They are visions of purest delight such the slightest glimpse may send your heart soaring to the heavens, forevermore transcendent in ecstasy. Or harpies from the foulest depths who will tear at your soul leaving you condemned in darkness, eternally lost within a stygian labyrinth.
