Miserable weather after couple weeks of sun

yep, bloody awful

I recall that about 20 years ago or so the media was banging on about launching rockets/satilites that would open up their massive mirrors to flowers to reflect the sun on to earth to make cooler days a bit warmer and have longer day time - thus saving on fuel and emmisons - sadly all BS and I nearly fell for it

I'm really enjoying this weather! I love the drizzle, the air so cold I can see my breath in the morning. It's the perfect time for horror films and sloe gin.

If it's not the season for you though? It must be pretty crappy. SAD is a real thing. Up the vitamin D intake and do little things you enjoy, x

As others have said, I too dont like it too hot.

Ideally, sunny but more importantly, warm, no wind or rain - best weather imo

When it gets dull/damp/dark, time to watch the tv. We are lucky we have lots of light coming in as we did a full refurb when we moved here about 5/6 years ago and the south facing loungs has a massive glass, folding glass floor to ceiling door along 25 feet across - not over-looked for no blinds etc and the grass looks lovely and green as the bids fly around and at times the foxes visit as well as squirells and paroots - but brighter weather does cheer people up.

Thankfully we upgraded our tv to old 75 incher a couple of years ago and can now see clear pictures in all weathers.

We could easily go away almost every month for short breaks abroad etc but we have offred to help out with grandkids several days a week by dropping them off at school/nursery and pic up as our children are often busy working from home and one is a pilot

Bottom line, dull, damp, wet windy weather not for me nor is anyhting more than 26C and bright sun

You ain’t been living where I live… I have not had any two weeks of sun.

Oh yes, I saw weather reports about “down south” having good weather. All I have seen up here is grey clouds and rain

I feel for you.

We lived in Leeds, now a distant memeory as we moved as kids here - it was mostly dark and damp - London, on the whole is brighter and warmer and less rain and even family etc from up north agree.

I wish you loads of sun
