I would commute 100+ miles for chemotherapy.

I would commute 1 step for sex.

Hope that helps.

Northolt

1-2 hours for a meet

If it's a new experience of a sex party I might consider a longer duration of traveling

I like to meet new people and socialise

For work (different jobs) it has been up to a 45 minute cycle ride, or a 45 minute bus and tube trip, or an hour drive (though obviously if something happens on the roads that can take longer).

For a meet I have travelled up to two and a half hours.

20 mins max for me

I’ve considered further but in the end if I’m gonna meet someone I want it to be a regular thing and I dunno if I can be bothered to do more than 20 mins each way

Ideally they drive and come to me, then it’s however long they want

Central

It would depend on the travel frequency. I'd do several hundred miles for a weekly commute, staying over for some days. But less for a near daily commute. The travel options and quality also affect the ability to commute, due to their 'cost' on wellbeing etc. A comfortable longer-haul train trip can be less exhausting than hard driving conditions. Working hours also affect options - starting at 11 is easier than 8am!

Having worked from home for 15 years, and still having to do the odd long trip to remind me of the general discomfort of commuting, no more than 15 minutes each way.

couple, us we him her.

My job is mobile so can easily start the day with a five minute drive or 2 hrs.

But if I was commuting to a regular place of work doing an 8/9 HR day then home.

An hour tops ideally 30mins or under.

I don't have the option of working from home as I'm a tradesman but if I could I'd definitely try and do a couple of days at home.

Your post wasn't clear, it didn't clarify where or what the commute was for.

I use to “commute” to Dubai for a year - two weeks there and two weeks in London… then when I use to work on oil rigs around Europe - Holland, Denmark, Norway… (does that count?)

A field somewhere

I commuted 120 miles each way, leeds to boston lincs, it added 5 hours to each day, totally exhausting resulting in me staying away from home during the week and missing my family.

My work commute is an hour each way.

I kinda miss traveling for work though. I didn't take advantage of it years ago in the way I would now.

As for meeting people, it depends. The journey is part of the adventure.

However I find the notion of someone traveling miles to meet me too much, (unless we know each other well) as I'm always worried they might be disappointed

North West

I prefer no more than 1hr each way nowadays. Mr KC used to commute to places like Denmark, Norway, Israel and all over, to work on oil/gas rigs. He nearly ended in in the Falkland Islands once for work, but it didn't happen in the end.

I used to commute 50 minutes each way to work which was just about tolerable. That journey gradually increased by about 30 minutes which I really hated. I also detested the lack of flexibility in the journey and the destination too. It did come after many years of a 20 minute commute to the city centre which was not an issue
