Somewhere In The Ether…

You remember these books right? They were very popular in the 80’s and 90’s as I recall and were really great; ‘If you choose, ‘yes’ turn to page 134, if ‘no’, turn to page 60…’ etc.

Anyhoo, in honour of them, here’s something similar (in truth, it’s fuck all like them but sod it)

Visualise if you will the following: Yourself and another Fabber of your choice are having your first social meet together.

It’s going really well in fact; you’re really attracted to them and loving their company - most excellent!

….until that is, suddenly and completely out of the blue you inadvertently and completely accidentally unleash a gargantuan fart of the ages!

I’m talking the like that could quite easily register on the Richter Scale and possibly even mighty enough to merit proud Norse songs that shall be sung around Scandinavian log fires in hundreds of years time.

Which of the following options do you opt for in this frightful scenario:

1. You immediately own up to your anal indiscretion and apologise profusely.

2. You ignore it completely and continue indifferently as though nothing untoward or exceedingly uncouth has just transpired.

3. You own up to your arse centred announcement and make light of it with humour.

4. You look up at your date in abject disgust as though they have just committed the crime.

5. You look over at a completely random stranger as a scapegoat some twenty or so feet away and point at them with a filthy look.

6. Something else (please elucidate)

I used to love the action packed sounding titles: ‘Voyage Of Unimaginable Terror.’ or the like (I just made that one up but you get the gist)

I lent one to someone recently and they ruined it, it's in tatters. It was Deathtrap Dungeon, gutted bc it was one of the best, original copy too.
