Women only- gym leggings - or similar

Okay back at the gym over half a year now though am utterly fed up of gym leggings and how they either go loose or just almost see through.

What does everyone recommend as I can't be doing with buying them every couple of months?

Or if not gym leggings what do you wear? It's basically for just doing weights, (something squat proof) at the gym and I do wear them for long dog walks.

Recommendations?

Why not just go for loose shorts or joggers? Make sure the material is still stretchy though so they are swat proof.

I usually wear shorts on leg day and tracky B's if it's predominantly upler body for obvious reasons

I wear the Matalan ones at £12.50. I’ve 4 black pairs and have had them years. High wasted, no rips or bobbles and wash great. Yeah blacks a bit boring but all the funky coloured ones I like are a fortune from other brands and I train 4 days a week so need a few. I have been eyeing up SHEIN leggings so may get a pair and see how they go xx

I've never done shein mostly because I can't work the measurements out.

I'll look for running leggings though, thanks

I am partial to Sweaty Betty ones. They really hold you in, no see through and they last. I’ve found other brands just roll down, especially when having a lower tummy/FUPA which I do

Shorts are also a good alternative. I have some from Under Armour and they are great.

Maybe some waterproofs for your dog walks and then regular bottoms for gym?

Keep seeing the Sweaty Betty ones. I'll maybe have to get a few different ones and see what suits best. Thanks

Have a look at Gymshark or Fabletics for leggings. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing them you could try wearing some joggers instead.

I really like fabletics. Ive got 2 pairs I've had for around 4 years now. Wear them all the time for running, classes and gym. Not see through at all. Thus us a subscription site so be careful. I just did one order then cancelled. I also swear by gymshark for the gym. Not kern on them for running but gym wear is fine. Avoid shein etc. Good luck.x

La la land

I like tikiboo, they're higher in the waist too which I need. And and you can adjust the waist band too, so they don't roll etc when squatting etc.

Saucony, Nike, Adidas,gymshark, underarmour.

Mrs uses all of these brands.

She also wears the baggy shorts with a built in pair of lycra shorts as a liner.

Maidstone

I've bought some lycra ski undergarment from Lidl which are great!

They are quality thick lycra and in panels - with porous fabric on the super sweaty areas. I've had them a couple of years and they are still good - tho I only wear and wash them about once a week.

I find Sweaty Betty to be the best. Their Power leggings are my favourite. They hold you in, never roll down, don’t go loose after loads of wear. They last ages, and don’t end up pilly from washing. They also have bum sculpting technology to make the bum look lovely.

They aren’t cheap but if you’re not too fussed about colours you can buy their £100 Power leggings as low as £20 when they have a sale on. Right now they have one.
