Good folks: What is the worst first date you’ve ever been on?

Also, what has been the crappiest/most thoughtless or simply most boring location you’ve ever been to on a first date?

And finally…..did you give the other person a second date? (and did they up their game?)

Started talking about very extreme political matters and basically wrote off everyone that didn't agree with her.

Got pissed and got worse.

I walked her to the train station waited for the train then walked away, deleted her number.

Worst first date - a tour of the caves under a pub. I wore totally inappropriate clothing and went flying down stone step , grabbed his arm, he looked at me indignantly whilst stiffening it…

Most boring - not really had any boring ones, it’s always *interesting* meeting a shiny new person

Finally I gave *worst* date another chance - he was hot, think younger/long hair/cargo pants and sandals (my hot

) I was powerless and ended up seeing him for a year

I went on a date with someone and we walked around with her telling me for 20 minutes how she was a strong independent woman and didn’t need a man.

Then when we ordered coffee I thought she might be offended because she’s strong and independant and wouldn’t need me to carry the tray.

It turns out I lack manners and she blocked me, because I did not carry the tray

To this day ai’m still confused

Man thats where I've been going wrong. Thought caves under the pub was a staple first date. Have to forgive me next time we can watch paint dry or something.

A cave tour - I think I’d love that although would absolutely make sure to pre-inform a date as to the said location and appropriate wear

In my 20’s I had a blind date set up by a work colleague. It wasn’t going particularly well anyway. Then the lad I had been on a date with the previous night walked in.

Neither were particularly impressed with me. I left them to a pint with each other & went home.

From here…. He turned up and I didn’t recognise him. About 3 stone & 10 years difference in his picture. . .

The joys of being a guy is that honest, don’t really get bad dates

A bad date to me is like “oh she was boring” - “chat was a bit dry”. It’s really no problem

Hearing bad date stories from women where they get followed home, aggressive guys, stalks that won’t take no for an answer. It’s horrific

It was a really good idea for a first date at a well known nottm city centre pub, quirkiest date I’ve been on for sure!

The only bad one I can think of was a rude woman who got out her car at the front of the hotel, passed me her keys to park like sone valet boy, then told me I insulted her asking to split the bill. The sex wasn’t that bad though.
