Is it ok to judge other people and call them names just because their thing is not your thing? I've seen a few forum posts that are so judgemental! Plus seen others asking if what they do is disgusting, why! I swerve the stuff I'm not into but don't throw shade on those who do stuff I'm not into.

Surely folk should be able to swing their own way (legal activities obvs) & not be subject to others throwing shade their way? What do you think?

It’s not necessary but it’s what they do. Sone people aren’t floating unless someone else is drowning unfortunately. Ultimately harms no one but themselves though. Who likes a hater? No one.

Its a forum so not everyone agrees as not everyone would agree with the way you deal with it

I've NEVER seen a thread or a post started by someone to belittle a sexual act.

I have seen threads started by people asking for the opinions of others and they are given them and often they are pretty clear about how they feel

Depends on context. If someone does a thread asking people’s opinions on something then it’s fair enough for people to say they don’t like it or think it’s gross. Just randomly being nasty about something isn’t fair enough.

Hmm fair shout haha, I should have phrased it as

'I favour a positive approach personally so find seeing judgy stuff a bit crap. Being a swinger is liberating for me, it's not great to see judgy comments that are throwing shade, it kills my good mood

Although, I didn't actually say throw shade about those who do it lol

The kind of thing that say, "I'm into this but not that because it's awful". Like that's shade on those who do enjoy it, it just feels crap to me to see stuff like that. Like my thing may not be your thing and vice versa but that should be completely OK

Some genuinely won't care what others do.

Lots will pass judgement.

Seek out those that indulge in your interest and don't engage with those that don't.

There are some things I do judge - my opinion shouldn't influence someone else's likes/dislikes

I don’t care what someone else does. But I use it as a basis to meet/ speak to/ club with that person.

Don’t go out of my way to throw shade to anyone, couldn’t be arsed and don’t care about anyone enough too ha, (unless an opinion is asked for in my inbox) but I do judge people based on decisions or actions on here absolutely

There’s lots of things I categorically disagree with but I wouldn’t go out of my way to throw shade or be nasty to someone who does it. Just avoid that person and next

It would be dreadful. Difference is what sparks creativity. I love when someone shares a fantasy and I have that: fuck me that's hot, I never knew that could turn me on sensation. I'm sure there's still room for more discovery.
