Possibly because it’s Halloween at the end of the month and Xmas is the next significant date where themed merchandise will be required.

I think it’s called retailing.

Asda never stopped selling yule logs at all after last christmas, they've had them in the freezer all year

Now I'm conflicted. I love a yule log but from the freezer?
