I'd class myself more as an old fashioned alternative - I enjoy punk, goth, metal and eclectic folk and ambient. I don't see many bands, but I recently went to see the Sisters of Mercy. I'd love to see Rammstein.

I just want to see Avantasia and Scorpions. I wouldn't care anymore, if I get laid here or not.

Of course, my favourite band is Dead Can Dance, which isn't rock at all, and rather defies pigeonholing. I've seen them three times, and Lisa Gerrard (one half of them) once.

But I doubt they'll ever tour or record together again.

Mr S here.

Been going to rock, prog and fusion gigs since the early 70s.

Saw Glenn Hughes about a month ago but unexpectedly disappointing. Before that saw Steve Hillage again, always great and have been going to his gigs since the mid 70s.

My first love is jazz fusion though, but I imagine there aren’t many of us on here

How were SoM live?

I saw them twice and didn't think much of it tbh. That was a few years ago. Just curious to hear how they are now

I love Kyuss.

Never saw them but I've seen various members (John Garcia, Josh Home, Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri) in different bands down the years.

I also saw QOTSA when they only had the one album out. I don't pay much heed to them these days tbh.

Love Kylesa too but they are on indefinite hiatus the last few years.

Well, I haven't seen then before, and I don't go to that many gigs, but they had good energy and it was a blast
