This will go down well, I can feel it in the air

I only speak for myself, I can read a thread and if it's something I don't know about then i will look it up, mainly goog, and if ive understood it i may post. If I dont, I definitely won't.

It's important to have an education and tools that can be used to the best of abilities and to self educate too, but

Some topics can very easily go the route of negativity if the OP or someone isn't able to convey what they mean if they have difficulties, spelling, understanding the site and forums, 2nd hand info, outdated outlooks etc

Would the decent responses or approach sometimes be more how someone could look up, research and self educate and help themselves in the future than to berate, piss take and always answer with the predicted wtf

Of course. I think sometimes people really enjoy taking the piss out of another. Obviously sometimes it's a daft post and there's gentle teasing - there's a difference though.

I think that understanding and remembering people communicate in different ways, sometimes people genuinely don't know something is important. We could all do with being a bit more erm... measured in our responses. And also educating ourselves so we don't encourage the spread of dodgy information - like fatter women having looser vaginas.

He is implying that everyone who reads the daily mail are unable to critical think about any topic.

Its a common thread with people who dislike the right side of police to imply that reading specifically the mail means you are therefore lesser and unable to think

People consume the news that is right for their level of reading. All main newspapers are biased but DM is popular as it’s very easy reading. Al jazzera , RT, NYT is more investigative

Though I’m probably guilty of it on occasion, I agree that berating and making funny comments is not helpful. BUT, I’ve spent enough energy trying to help people who only have interest in being horrible to know that it’s not always my job to expend energy the work for someone else.
