Nothing. I tend only to message when someone's profile makes me smile or intrigues me - so do not expect a reply but am over the moon if one arrives (and excited like a little child if someone randomly messages me). So not offended by no reply (though I cannot remember the last time I sent a message without a reply).

Yeah, I get that, however, as a single female on here I often get about 60 messages a day.

I'm not spending 1 hr per day sending 'Thanks but no thanks messages.

I have neither the time nor inclination.

I'm not offended by a lack of response, I get women get inundated on here.

I've only been offered here twice and they have been by replies. 1 woman told me she only fucks guys who make 6 figures. And another took the time to tell me how out of my league she was/go the gym etc etc.

I much prefer it if age filters are set - especially if like you they are set so restrictively that it is clear that the women will only be contacting those she wants to.

No reason to get offended, that person has made it abundantly clear that they will be the contacter (unless of course you happen to be 98-99 years old, in which case, game on!)

I often put in my profile I'll accept a deleted message or no reply as a not interested.

Sounds conceited but I would hate to try and reply to the 10s of messages people get.

We have a key phrase in our profile that if isn’t in the subject title, the message gets deleted and we don’t even bother to read it.

I think a lot of the disdain comes from when guys have spent time reading through a profile, constructing a well mannered polite message and believing they fit the bill of what that person looking for only for the message to be ignored.

Multiply that by the number of times they do this whilst getting the same outcome and you have your answer.

Well I put up a thread a bit ago saying I would rather receive no reply to a personalised well thought message than a reply of just Hi I really don’t like that but I would never then go on to harass and abuse someone as I see a good few guys do here

Please know that these are not my personal thought processes. I’m fully aware that no matter how much I feel I may fit the bill of what someone is looking for, they do owe me anything. My expectation of a reply to a sent message of mine (when I send them) is a big fat zero. Was just offering a perspective of how the majority of men are feeling being on this site even after taking on board the countless same advice from the masses. It’s a never ending vicious cycle.

I don't think all cases are entitlement. Just a simple desire for human interaction.

If a person is entitled for hoping for a reply when they've spent time reading profiles and checking if there's a chance they match what the persin is looking for, it's hardly a surprise that they feel disappointed to get no reply.
