Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. Don’t have family I can open up to. But is it just me or is life too hard? I’m always trying to think positive but negative thoughts always take over. Tried to better myself with most things I know there’s people out there with worse issues than me but it just feels like waking up everyday is a chore and i’m not sure how long I can keep feeling like this. Confidence levels have dropped considerably. Sorry again x

Well done for reaching out.

Life can be quite overwhelming at times and it can leave us all feeling that it's too hard.

Its important to acknowledge that you're trying and that's all any of us can do.

You've also got through every difficult time you've ever had which should show you that you're strong.

There's lots of resources online which you could have a look at and I would encourage you to speak to your friends /GP.

I'm not sure if you work but some employers have really good employee assistance programmes that even offer confidential help and support or counselling services. Mind to mind is a great website to look at as a starting point.

I hope things get easier for you

Sandwich

Everything she has already said

I can highly recommend Melanie Tonia Evans. Her Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Program has changed my life, totally for the better!!!!

Since I started the program, I haven’t felt that low or depressed any longer.

I wish you all the best OP.

I kinda hate that mentality of people have it worse than you, pain isn't a competition. If something is effecting you, acknowledge it, we all process and handle things differently. There's no magic cure, sometimes you need to ride the storm.. accept the bad days and appreciate the good. Try different things to get you through the bad days but ultimately just feel what you need to feel. Tomorrow will be better, look after yourself and focus on just getting through today.

There's always someone worse off. If you take that to it's logical conclusion there's only one person on the planet anyone should have any empathy or compassion for.

Life can ber very hard. When it gets to its lowest ebb I hear Jim Morrison singing.

Well I've been so goddam low that it looks like up to me.

Nothing wrong with reaching out, even if it's just that you need to feel like you aren't alone.

I think everyone goes through ups and downs just virtue of life in general and unexpected events.

The fact you acknowledge where you are is great step and you not alone

Gently unpack all your reasons and slowly address them and repack its not overnight or days just give yourself aslong as it takes .

Always here along fab family
