Done that, ended up coming back.

Was nice for about two weeks, then the salt water showers got to my skin, the gritty sandy bedsheets started to annoy me, not having access to the internet was a pain, not having mobile phone reception and being a good 2 hours longboat journey to the nearest point of civilization gave me a feeling of "if something happened to me like me getting ill, I'm totally screwed."

Other than that, awesome

Lol it's definitely a once in a lifetime experience and for what it's worth, given me incredible memories and made me relish a little bit of what humanity has to offer. ( I always wanted to do the whole being stranded on idyllic untouched tropical islands thing, surviving on one's own merit (And Conservation Indonesia's wood hut built on the isle....)

I went to remote untouched islands in Kaimana, Indonesia.
