Metal/rock bands and your fave song

Jump to newest

York

So, a nice little game.

Name a metal band. By this I mean any band you love that falls within the Hard Rock or Heavy Metal scope, including punk. Goth, nu metal, etc all.

Tell me your fave song by them.

I will give three answers

1. Do I know of them?

2. Do I like them?

3. What's my fave song by them?

I will start.

Faith No More

1. I know them

2. I love them

3. The Cowboy Song.

We might get a playlist going eh?

So many but I would offer a song that was a give a way in a music newspaper in the 80’s, after I heard it I wanted to listen to the singer no matter which group he happened to be playing with.

‘I’ll rip your spine out’ by Gillan

Atheist.. Unholy War. I have the hourglass from Piece of Time tattooed on me.

Oh wow! The lead singer, Kelly, is a friend of mine. I had my first piercing ever done by him ages ago.

He went on to have a few other bands with some much smaller success than Athiest.

I never got round to hearing R.A.V.A.G.E. a band he was in with Roger

Some of his other bands were good too but nearly impossible to find their music online.

StarrFactory

Stones of Madness

Also Till The Dirt"

Yeah, I never heard Till The Dirt as it was über local.

I remember Neurotica.. I really liked them.

Oh, never met a Neurotica fan I didn’t know. I went to every one of their concerts in North America for some years.

I still love Neurotica! What’s your favourite song?

I remember hearing them for the first time on a metal radio show, can't remember if it was Tommy Vance or not..

The track I heard was Deadly Sin.. and it's one of those songs you love so much, but noone else has heard lol.

Bit like Hell on Earth by Crusher

Or Everything I by Lollipop LustKill

Deadly Sin is such a good one!

That was the problem, no one else had ever heard of them.

I can’t choose a favourite. I was in there warehouse where they practised when they wrote nearly all of the songs in their album Neurotica. I was in two of their videos for songs on that album. "

I too am in a metal video lol..

Band called Eviscerate Carnage. Song Called Deathwork..

What songs are you in the video for?
