That's actually a very good point! Figuring out what that now looks like is the next job though! "A few years ago I heard about imagining multiple futures. Where you imagine lots of futures where you are happy with and without the thing(s) and unhappy with and without the thing(s) you are contemplating. It helped me realise what I wanted but understand that there were futures where the thing never happens and I am still happy and futures that the thing does happen and I am not happy. It released me a little from the fear of pursuing what I wanted because both outcomes had possibilities of happiness. A bit deep and abstract for a thread where I have discussed my thighs breaking through my jeans though. | |||

So a snap shot: 1981 Joan Armatrading (just on the edge of my age preference now!) 1982 Chrissie Hynd (even today) 1983 Ann Lennox (ditto) 1984 Sade (yes still) 1985 Tracy Chapman (not seen her for a while so who knows) 1988 Tanita Tikaram (ditto) 1990 Sinéad O'Connor (RIP) 1997 Natalie Imbruglia (not seen her for years so who knows) 1998 Dido (ditto) 2001 Kylie Minogue (definitely still today) Jackie Abbott (any year!)
