Bought a bike...used it one

Joined a gym....went for 3 months

Bought a weight bench... used as a hanging rail for washing...

Why do I find exercise so mundane and lack the incentive/ motivation?

Nice day out but cba to ride it's so mind numbingly boring...

Inspire me my fellow fabsters

The shagfast plan or was it slimfsst? Not sure but it worked for Barry Bethell

Bores the arse off me too and there's no inspiration to be had. It's get a tiny bit less monotonous the more you go though I find. Once you feel the fitness levels increasing it does motivate you more.

Plus find a gym where the ladies luuurve the spandex. Essex is the best place for them I'm discovering x

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

If you're still infectious then don't do anything that involves others!

..its the thrill of being able to take your bodies to the extreme. You deciding your physique and experimenting. The thought of how far can you go..

..love the gym.

It's a no brainer for me -

Quite simply, exercise makes me horny

It must be the flood of endorphins and testosterone

I've just started running again, after a year lay off, due to injury and knee surgery (not running related) and my hormone levels are going through the roof

That and feeling fit makes me feel good, buns of steel, and plenty of stamina

Try exercising/training with others or find a team sport you enjoy. I enjoyed Muay Thai training for a few years, it's not only a great way to exercise and keep fit, but to meet others and have fun while doing it.

Couldn't agree more!

I do ju jitsu which is a great workout and good fun even though as a white belt most my night is spent with other men's chests in my face or being choked its still a good laugh

When it comes to exercise in general, I reckon its something people either enjoy or they don't. Personally I enjoy a good intense workout, and couldn't imagine NOT exercising several times a week - its awesome being strong.

All you need do is go to the local swimming pool and look at over weight, bellies hanging over swimming shorts and greasey looking men to think "that's not gonna be me".

Or indeed, look at my torso pic

If you don't exercise and get ripped for this summers beach hols, you might end up looking like me

Depends what you enjoy, to get the best and fittest body and for your Heart and other organs to feel amazing and stronger, short intense bursts of training are the best and long distance running or cycling, if you want the feeling of not getting tired etc then that is the best,

if you have that i can`t be arsed attitude then just don`t bother breathing lol,

if your one of those that can`t be arsed with the proper intense work outs then do something light and jolly like Zumba or do yoga, it will burn a few calories but it won`t get you very fit.

but it all depends on how committed you are and don`t forget you need to have a good diet too not one that is full of processed meat`s and ready meal`s.

third star on the right

Music makes exercise good and soon you will be in the mood to exercise when you hear certain music otherwise find something you love doing for me (Mrs) its swimming and although we haven't been able to go for a while, we make a point of getting babysitters for an hour or so and go together, double the fun and seeing Mr all wet is a turn on for me..extra bonus!
