So folks , getting winks and fabs , do you like it, hate it or tolerate it.?

Is it different when they come from someone who matches your “ looking for” criteria?

I like to fab any pic I find sexy irrespective of whether I match the profiles “ looking for” is this disrespectful?

Do you think it’s rude to send a wink to a profile where you don’t match what they’re looking for?

Genuine questions, am pondering my fab etiquette.

People usually just do and whether you respond or not is up to you. I have only fabbed pics when that thread is on on Thursday and sometimes is just because the pic is rather artistic. As for winks I often fail to notice as there is no colour like there is with messages.

Yeah I take part in those threads, feels different as by joining the thread people are pretty much giving permission to wink or fab , so less of a random element.

I acknowledge every wink or fab ( it’s easy as I don’t get huge numbers) and I take them as a positive. But if you’re a woman or couple who get loads I just wonder if it’s different and possibly frustrating for them

I look at every wink that cones in. It doesn't change what we're looking so it won't help single men, but we prefer winks to shit messages, which are all too common on here. Luke

We look at winks, but only respond to those that pique our interest. Fabs are great, but meaningless, just somebody saying, ‘oh hey, nice pic.’ And when we fab a picture it’s in the same spirit.

I appreciate my pics getting a fab, as it is a compliment. I very occasionally fab other pics.

Winks - in my profile, I say I would prefer a decent message. Winks from other tgirls and certain men are ok but I state most men should message.

I do look at all winks and will wink back to some or even send a message. If the profile makes no reference to liking tgirls, I usually just delete.

Being completely honest, I don't check either so wouldn't have a clue if we've had new fabs or winks lol.

We don't use the wink system personally. We do fab people's pics though. Just don't check ours

Indifferent really. If someone does then grand. If you see what you like wink. If not, don’t.

Press Account button

There is then a box that is called Fabbed Photos - press that and you can see who has fabbed which photo.

You need to be a supporter

I'm absolutely useless at remembering to check winks sent to me.

But when I'm too chicken to message someone I think I might like I wink and wait to see if they wink back. I find it less intrusive and like a gentle hey 'I like your profile'

I'll fab anything as a 'love the photo' though sometimes it is more of 'yes fucking please'

As for Fabbing my picture I don't check who or how many. It's not why I am on here.

I think it would be a little strange to hate anyone fabbing your pics - it's just a sign they liked it, so surely a compliment. But it's obviously nicer to get a fab from someone you like/fancy too.

Like you, OP, I just fab pics I like, even if I know that person and I won't ever meet. But I wouldn't send a wink on the same basis as I think a wink is trying to get a conversation started, so I wouldn't do that if we were obviously unsuited.

Fabs are always nice, I don’t care who they’re from. If I see a picture I like then I’ll fab it regardless if I meet their requirements or not.

I don’t check winks but it would be pointless to send one someone when you know you’re not what they are looking for in my opinion.

I see them as a time saving bonus. They save the person sending them, the time of writing a message. Then they save me the time, of reading the message and deleting it.

I prefer winks. It’s less intrusive. It gives me a chance to check someone who’s interested in me, out. Without any initial investment. Messages and anything else can come after, if both parties like each others profile. No point writing out messages that may or may not get answered. It seems only natural to me to start with a wink, let them check out the profile and decide wether to write a message or wink back if interested. Go from there. It’s a bit much to expect a well crafted message straight away from someone. I’d say. A bit self indulgent even.

Why would someone hate it lol? Even tolerate sounds too negative, maybe be indifferent to it? I like it though.

It's different for winks vs fabs in this case. Winks can only come from those who match the criteria, but fabs can be from anyone.

No, I don't think it's disrespectful. I've not done it, mainly because I use the fab feature very sparingly, but don't mind it.

Is that possible? Pretty sure if you have gender filters or age filters set, people who don't meet those criteria can't send you winks.

In general, I prefer winks to fabs, maybe because I use fabs so rarely myself. For people I like, I'd probably come across crazy, because I'd fab all their pics - so, I avoid that by not fabbing any! I guess should add it in my profile - if I wink/message, it's because I like all of their pics and don't want to single out particular ones

You can be nicest guy and fab 1000 000 photos. Change everything 100 times.

They will say otherwise and blah blah.

If you're not a guy who most women fancy, then you have really slight chance even to get a no thanks. I don't mean just the ones out of your league.

Some nice people on the forums, but it's sad and depressing to go to only socialize on a hookup site. Paying for features like see who looked at you. It's always just guys whatever is your sexual orientation. You will get a lot of views when you spend time on forums. They still going to ignore you. Most single guys are fuckin invisible. Nobody will know you're nice or good in bed...etc. More chance to get laid sitting on a bench on any busy street anywhere. Most thinks they're top models or celebrities. Sorry,snap, out! Dropping mic!
