Random friend request….

Evening one & all

A friend request came in… no message of ‘I’d like to see more’ or ‘shall we add as friends and go from there’

So do you send random friend requests? If so has anyone actually accepted without question? Are you just trying to see their pics?

If you receive one… are you likely to accept ?

I only have people that I have actually met on my friends list.

All friends requests are ignored because they can’t request again for a while (I forget the exact amount of time, but it’s in the FAQ’s).

Although after reducing the amount of private photos the random requests have reduced

Whenever I receive a random friend request with no prior contact or after 1 exchanged message, I ignore.

99.9% of my friend requests are all randoms. I have thousands of friend requests and don’t bother looking at them.

I don’t add people unless we’ve met, except for one woman I did add in advance of meeting and same for a man I once did that to but we had plans to meet a few days after I added him.

Random ones get ignored. If it’s a name a recognise, I’ll consider it. If it’s someone I’ve been chatting with I’ll hit ‘accept’ faster than a very fast thing.

I don't send random out of the blue ones. And if I receive one, I'll wait until they're offline, perve their friends only, then remove. I keep meaning to Fab one of them while I'm there but I always forget

Our friends are people we met, people we want to meet or real good friends we’ve made on here.

We don’t accept or request random friends requests.

Some random friend invites could be accidental with it being between the wink and hotlist options, most probably aren't but there's always the possibility. I wouldn't send or accept random invites, but I wouldn't automatically block someone for it, mistakes can happen.

Is this about that awful thing you do where you accept the request when they are offline look at their pics and unfriend them? I have never done that, nor have I ever fabbed someones pic before unfriending them!

Are you using desk top ?

Because the friend request is within the drop down menu per profile

I suppose we might occasionally accept a random friend request to have a nosey and then unfriend.

We usually just ignore them, as sending friend requests to someone you've never interacted with, is a strange thing to do in my opinion.

10 minute accept then delete game. Friend request sent. 10 minutes to delete if you're not interested....

Socials..

We have lots and lots of random friends invites that we just ignore as it’s obvious they just want a nose at friends only pics ..

I think I’ve only received one in 10 years. I’ve only sent a few and never been refused, but we will have chatted for some time first.

Some I chat to but we have never bothered with friend requests as it’s so unlikely we will ever meet.
