Were Ricardo Dos Santos and Bianca Williams racially profiled?

From reading what available. I genuinely can't see any other reason for this stop.

I know Steve will love this one as we don't often agree on racism.

. I believe they may have been as back in the 1990’s when Linford Christie was World and Olympic champion the same thing happened to him.It seems the police have learnt little or nothing in the last 30 years.

They were in a area of high crime in a car with darkened windows which makes it harder to see who is in. They could be yellow with pink spots and you would not know. Look at the car In front and tell me what colour they are.

They failed to stop and drove erratically for another two miles after police tried to stop them and only stopped when they got home.

He then refused to open the doors and laughed at the police. he was later abusive and derogatory about their wages.

On another stop a couple of months later he undertook the police vehicle and refused to stop for some distance. He lied and said the Tesla changed lanes automatically.

If you believe it is ok not to stop for police because you are not white or for any other reason then law and order has failed.

I don’t love it as much as your Eminem thread. But yeah I agree that they were.

My understanding is this stop was in Maida Vale, one of the safest places in London, so not sure where your 'high crime' comment comes from.

Who gives a fuck what happened previously or after, as your first comment says they didn't know who was driving so that cancels itself out.

I'm not sure what 'erratic driving' occurred but I do know the police have spoken about him being stopped at traffic lights

They did not complain about the stop.. Linford Christie did.. you know, the man who was a drugs cheat and his brother was murdered over drugs...

You would think a man like that would support police trying to remove drugs from the streets, from children and stopping murders.. just saying.

If they did not know who was driving how could it be a racist stop? Look at Paddington less than half a mile away and there has recently been two murders on young people with knifes, they drove two miles before stopping and I know the area very, very well having lived there. It is not a safe area. Look at Mozart just round the corner.

Just because they don't know who was driving doesn't mean they didn't see a black man behind the wheel.

My point was, you brought up things Ricardo has done personally, if they didn't know it was him driving, those things make no difference to the stop.

I'm sure a DVLA check would've been done and they would've seen the car was registered to an address in Maida Vale, the car was heading in the direction of Maida Vale. Come on man, I get it if you don't feel it was racially motivated, you're entitled to that opinion but these links are tenuous at best.
