It’s not his fault. The rot set in with the Glazers it’s been crumbling like the ground for some time.

It would be interesting to see who manages the recruitment behind the scenes I suspect he didn’t want Mount and the clown show they have at the back.

It genuinely does feel like a culture of hire a manager, back him, get CL football, stop playing for the manager, get the manager sacked, rinse and repeat. That does start with the scouting and board room and ends with the players. It's been the same cycle for 10 years

Outsider looking in..Lots wrong at the club.

Maguire, sancho, antony, greenwood etc all distractions all create a lack of harmony in the team.

Bad recruitment players that are over paid, difficult to get rid of, and not good enough

Sacking the manager just creates another problem

First anx foremost team ain't good enough

Pretty much spot on. We are multiple injuries in defence as well which doesn't help. But it's much deeper than that.

As a football fan and Man Utd fan I don’t believe any manager should be sacked during the season as he has been trusted with the budget and the recruitment of players. To sacked a manager during the season the people who trusted him with the budget and recruitment should be looking at themselves if they sack a manager during the season it says more about their lack of judgement than the manager.Let’s not forget last season we finished 3rd and won the League Cup to talk about sacking a manager after 10-12 games do you give the next guy 10-12 games and sack him as well if results don’t go your way

The main problem is the attitude of the players. Dont get me wrong the owners are to blame aswell. But if the players dont give there all that is a problem. The manager should know how to handle the players and get the best out if them. Look at Kieran McKenna for instance with ipswich. Ten hag needs to address this problem fast before he loses the dressing room having silly arguments with the likes of Sancho treating players different he has to step up to the mark and bring the team together

Absolutely, which further underlines the incompetence of the owners. Take away the fact that the money spent on transfers has been all of the club's money while the owners take millions in dividends out every year, the scattergun transfer approach has been awful, and that buck stops with the owners because they failed to put the correct structure in place below them.

Double jeopardy rule probably. He was already on a yellow so a penalty and a second Ellie means he'd only miss one match instead of 3.

Thats 2 different points youre making there.

Regarding the second senyence, how is that a reason for only giving him a yellow? Its not the refs concern how much of a ban hes going to get?

And as for double jeopardy, that mitigation is only in place for keepers is it not?

An outsider looking in but it seems Ten Hag has already lost the dressing room.

Maguire shouldn’t have been allowed to stay after he lost the captaincy.

Too many players creating distractions (Sancho, Greenwood, etc and last year Ronaldo).

Making Fernando captain after his childish antics last year.

Giving Rashford a huge contract after he had a purple patch and hasn’t done anything since.

Bringing Evans back.

The owners probably deserve some blame and they’ll be the scapegoats every time it goes wrong but they still allow for millions to be spent on players. These aren’t the United of old standard and I don’t think that’s their fault but whoever is suggesting these players to buy.

It’s toxic right the way through the club now and changing managers just creates the same problems again and again.

Correct, it was two different points I was making. The double jeopardy rule is for all players. The ref wouldn't give a shit if it was one match or three, he just applied the rule. It was double jeopardy and therefore a penalty and a yellow (in this case a second yellow).

"They must have changed that double jeopardy rule unbeknownst to me so, as it only applied to keepers when it was first brought in"

From the FA website:

CAUTIONS FOR UNSPORTING BEHAVIOUR

There are different circumstances when a player must be cautioned for unsporting behaviour including if a player:

denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by committing an offence which was an attempt to play the ball or challenge for the ball and the referee awards a penalty kick
