Up at the crack of dawn …

Ahhh yes.

I know *EXACTLY* where you’re going with this Fabsters… (she’s a lovely lass that Dawn) but NO!

Put your sordid little fuck-site tainted thoughts to one side my lovelies!

This is a “what is your favourite time of day” thread!

Me? Genuinely it is around dawn time.

Fresh, crisp, icy cold air, great for deep inhalation to the lungs, mist lingering over the fields, dew or frost clinging to the grass, the chirp of birdsong, the sun starting to cascade over the horizon. Love it.

But what time of day does it for you? Maybe you’re a night owl, or prefer the mid morning quiet after the school run etc ..

Let us know!

Sunrise is my favourite time of day. I used to work 12 hour night shifts so got to see sunset and sunrise in the same shift. Summer sunrises are my favourite..

I love dusk, that's when I do most of my walks when you can feel the day just winding down. It feels heavier and just atmospheric. I love it.

I like this time of night. Everyone’s sleeping and the house is quiet.

Dawn, for the early morning walk with my dog, and late at night for his final walk of the day. Don't like the in between as too many other dogs and dog walkers.

Early hours of the morning (1-4am) are my fave, though I rarely get to see them.

Just something so peaceful about the world around me be asleep, and everything/everyone is finally.. quiet. My brain can relax, I can actually gather my thoughts and have some downtime.

1am to 4am...is synonymous with pillow talk.

Same. The actual morning can do one. Anything after about 5am and up to early afternoon, actually!

I detest mornings, my favourite time of the day is after 9 child is in bed asleep and I can snack and TV binge for hours uninterrupted

Around 3am is the perfect time.

Quiet, dark and no humans to spoil my peace.

There a certain beauty to the world while humanity sleeps.

Afternoons, warmest time of the day, ground has dried out and can do enjoyable outdoors things or just lounge about with a hot drink or a beer.

This time of the morning. Around 5 am until 7ish. When people are still in bed. It’s peaceful, and I’ve woken up after clearing my head from yesterdays stuff.

Traffic land

I’m both a night owl and an early bird. I like both late evening and early mornings, usually because it’s peaceful, the rest of the world is asleep and isn’t bothering me
