"Strongly worded statement from Liverpool tonight. "

It's strange that so many var decisions have went Liverpools way since it was first implemented.

That they shout the loudest when one goes against them.

There's a list on Sky Sports website of controversial VAR decisions. It only has one in Liverpool favour.

Maybe your bias glasses at work there.

Looks like tragic news at Leyton Orient tonight, their game with Lincoln eventually abandoned after a medical emergency in the stands forced the game to stop after 84 min.

Some fans invaded the pitch to force the game to stop so medical assistance could be given pitchside.

Thoughts with the spectator and family / loved ones involved, puts Shanklys words into stark perspective

And they've been totally vindicated today with the release of that VAR recording from saturday.

My god what an absolute shambles. At least the one good thing to come from this now is that they will surely simplify their internal communications going forward to ensure this doesnt happen again.

Credit to liverpool for forcing their hand on this

All the people pointing out that Liverpool get more VAR decisions going there way should be pushing for VAR to be public with all there decisions who knows how many fuck ups they have made, As for Klopp saying he wants a replay watch the whole interview before you make a fool of yourself instead of reading all the click bait headlines

To be honest, when Man United were linked to the Qatar takeover, I said I'd rather keep the Glazers than become one of those clubs. However, I will say that it's easy to say that when your team is still competing for champions league places. Other fans may not agree.

Did you watch the full video ?

(not word for word) He said as a fan I would like the game replayed but that would leave it open for everyone wanting their game replayed if they felt they had been wronged he also said the best option would be for the wronged decision to be resolved there and then,

Also if every team had access to the audio between the ref and Var it would clear most of the issues up, I don't understand why other fans are kicking up a fuse over this

I have heard the audio .

They fucked up .

They have many many times before.

If it means we hear the audio live each time then great.

But the match should not be replayed.

I remember twice in one day last season one went against us and one went against West Ham.

Both were absolute ridiculous decisions by var that day.

“I can say immediately, and probably some people don’t want me to say it, not as a manager of Liverpool so much, more as a football person, I think the only outcome should be a replay.

“That’s how it is. Probably will not happen. “Against the argument it would be, if it happened again I think a replay would be the right thing to do.

“Or, the ref has the opportunity to bring both coaches together and say, ‘We made a mistake, but we can sort it. Let Liverpool score a goal and we start from there’

He was giving his opinion on the VAR mistake

Because the goal was actually awarded in this situation, just miscommunicated to the ref on the field

Liverpooo supporter here and shocked beyond belief that the Liverpool vs Tottenham isn't going to be replayed!

But then, can't see Tottenham offering it even though they've remain silent on all counts of the match results and going-ons, all for a easy win...

But you know what? Where the reds are, the fire will burn brighter so be warned! We'll come back fighting and we'll come on top.

I was gonna say it’s a big day at chez fabs…

17.30 …. Arsenal vs Chelsea

20.00…. England vs South Africa

12.30am…. Michigan State vs Michigan ( so what if MSU are rubbish this year, UM are ranked 2 in the nation, and MSU are 25 pt underdogs at home… it’s on national television, we have pulled off bigger shocks!!!)

Everton look like they have been caught banged to rights over FFP.. and it looks like the premier league are pushing for a 12 point deduction

Everton case is 1 charge against complying with FFP

If I was Man City… what is 115 charges of failing to comply with FFP going to get you….

Can't see it happening. The Premier League are trying to look tough but I doubt the football authorities will will actually have the bottle to do anything near that level of severity. Lawyers earn a lot of money for a reason.

I get your point about the replacing him with….but tell me….do those above Ten Hag create patterns and pick a team to win….no….that decision is with the manager….do the people above Ten Hag motivate the team on game day…..no….that’s the manager….get off this band wagon that it’s the Glazers that have created this!!

2005 they bought the club and Fergie won it all even with them in charge!!

In the eyes of football…..it starts and stops with the manager so unfortunately they will never be considered middle management….and whilst these players aren’t up to scratch….you’ll sack a manager before players!!

Sir Alex had already built his authority and network long before the Glazers which meant they walked into a winning formula. That's why he was able to continue his success. The Glazer then expected the managers to coach, manage and do the recruitment which has led to a mish-mash of different players suited to different playing styles that we're paying for now. That is not ETH's fault, it's the fault of those above him for not having a structure in place to that Man United have an identity of playing football and we're going to buy the players and hire the managers to suit that.

So yes, it is the Glazers fault, it's Ed Woodward's fault, and it's Richard Arnold's fault as they are the one tasked with putting a structure in place to allow the manager to thrive.

what a shame the oldest cup competition in the world with 700+ participating clubs every year is about to be ruined by the FA pandering to six clubs wims doing away with replays because the players are tired ? maybe use some of the 50+ squad players and stop fucking off to the far east on lucrative tours then you greedy cunts !

It loses something once they get to the third round when clubs from the top two divisions get in. what a shame the oldest cup competition in the world with 700+ participating clubs every year is about to be ruined by the FA pandering to six clubs wims doing away with replays because the players are tired ? maybe use some of the 50+ squad players and stop fucking off to the far east on lucrative tours then you greedy cunts !

It will only get worse, they’re expanding the champions league and the changes to our domestic cups are meant to help accommodate that. I wish they’d fuck off to a super league the bunch of money obsessed wankers."

Absolutely agree, the FA and Premier League need to grow some balls and tell these 'big' clubs where to shove their demands. Let them all form their Supre League but ensure that they are all kicked out of FIFA. They won't be missed.
