So 2x 20-30 minute sessions a week shouldn’t be too tough to stick to. I spend more time on here just browsing. It’s not for ‘improvement’ per se this month, but more to build the habit again as I’ve been very lazy recently.

"This "twice a week" stuff is not going to last. Once a day for a very short amount of time is better than twice a week for longer... Same with learning a language. You need to integrate it in your daily routine somehow. Same with gym. Can't lift every day, but you need to go everyday. Maybe do cardio on your days off or something. Need to play the piano once a day, 15 minutes before lunch or something. While going through the day, look up how to say things in the language that you want to learn, that you would say in english. Learn single, everyday words like that. Just make a habit of looking it up. Best are short little sentences to get the syntax, too. Nothing too complicated. Pair that with duolingo. Everytime I go to the bathroom, I play a game of chess. I became quite good over the years. If you do it only once a week, you will get lazy and forget about it. Something will come up, and then the next opportunity is 7 days from now. And then you miss it again and ooops you haven't done it for 2 weeks now. If you do it daily, then taht can happen, too. But it's a lot more difficult because it's literally everyday, so if you miss today you make up for it tomorrow and not next week. But it's best to not do too much new stuff at once anyway. That is just overload and then you procrastinate ALL of your new hobbies. Implement little by little. Get used to the gym first, then the second language, then the piano. If you do all at once you will not do any of those after a while, promised. And a thousand small steps are better than 100 big steps, they take less dedication and mental preparing and convincing, and for anything you try to achieve - going at it steady is more important than going at it hard. Even the gym. I know all of that, and yet I am a lazy SoB at the moment, too. But I used to live like this for years, and I got shit done. Constantly. All the time. I was so well up together. So take it from someone who knows what works, and what doesn't. I have done both. " Can weight train every day. Well Monday to Friday. Different body parts. I’m 60….I do

" It’s to build a habit of some sorts, because with the way my work is split across localities I can’t be home for a part of the week. Therefore the piano practice is limited to those times when I’m home. 2x is a minimum and if I can do more, which I will be able to most weeks then great but it’s just to get my brain back into making it part of a loose routine. I’m not trying to be Einaudi, just someone who can sit down and piss about. Duolingo is a daily habit on the other hand because my phone is always with me

I’m 60….I do" Oh definitely, but most people go for a full body work out, which is sufficient. And then you have to rest between workouts, especially if you're still sore. Cardio is a good alternative, it lets you go to the gym even if you don't want to strain yourself. A split plan is obviously not a bad idea either, but personally never liked it that much and I don't think it's very helpful unless you're at competition level. Personal preference and opinion though. As long as you go to the gym and you keep going to the gym, you do it right.

I’m 60….I do Oh definitely, but most people go for a full body work out, which is sufficient. True enough. I’ve tried them all. But at my age, can go quite hard say legd Monday and 7 days until do them again. Cardio is now walking and swimming. All over takes too long and I don’t think can do enough of each group " We get weaker the older we get, so that you still hit the gym is really impressive.

Can weight train every day. Well Monday to Friday. Different body parts. "Go to just one kink event. Go swimming at least once a week and have a gym session once a week too. I've been tasked, and would like to finish 'this life' and watch trainspotting as I've not seen it yet " Gym once a week? 4 per week plus swimming. Do it
