All over

Entice someone to relocate to your area. Benefits and attractions.

...or warn them to stay away

Yeah, but the good thing is that she's on holiday out of the area so much that the house prices in the are are not affected (then again, they can't fall much lower )

Where I live is actually lovely. Fields surround me, my neighbours are sheep and I can see the sea from my garden.

It is the arse hole of nowhere to most other people but to me it's perfect country living.

The gorgeous east coast beaches and Edinburgh city centre are less than an hour away.

By the river. Great transport connections. Less than 90 minutes to a decent club

Newcastle upon Tyne

Beautiful countryside, fantastic beaches and coastline with a vibrant and wonderful party city. The North East has it all.

Well maybe not the weather but who needs the sun when the city is hot.

Lincoln

If you like the idea of a city that's more like a big town, has little to do, and is at least an hour's drive away from basically anywhere interesting, then Lincoln is for you

Planning to move away next year so open to suggestions

There’s a big Asda about 20 minutes away to be fair.

It's like the twilight zone. Commuter County, where people live to go to more interesting places

Dubai & Nottingham

Come to Dubai , we have 2 seasons, hot and hell. Everything is more expensive except cigarettes , transport and utilities. But you can party party party and swim in the sea all year round and all night long now ( 3 night beaches)

This time of year after sunset is nice, but particularly around 3-4 am and if a full moon can get quite busy and the shisha lounges stay open all night

Admit it you will miss Skeg Vegas ?

Stamford is ok though and maybe within one hour ? That would be a great line for a tourist campaign wouldn’t it. Come to Lincoln, Stamford is alright & maybe within an hour

We've never been to Skeg Vegas and we have only been to Mablethorpe once when my family was here and they wanted to see a beach.

Stamford is super nice, but also expensive and there is nothing to do there either

newcastle

As already said we have lovely beaches and countryside. I can leave my house with the dog walk a few minutes and be at farmland/county where can walk for miles, 5 minute drive to the beach ect. The town I live in is a bit of a dive as we still have no town centre and there not much here but kind of like it like that and they are slowly taking up all the surrounding fields with housing which is quite shit as well

Place is hated by Tory ministers and full of what Priti Patel described as "north London metropolitan liberal elite". If Sunak, Truss, Johnson, Patel and Braverman all dislike norf London so much, then this must be the ideal place for woke, empathetic, liberals to live (through in some sarcasm and ribaldry and it gets more fun). Plus we have access to good train lines and can get to the continent quicker than a Tory can award a PPE contract to his best mate (if Sunak does not totally stuff the North this week, then I could have referenced my old stomping ground of Manchester, and ideally Leeds).

Leeds unfortunatelly often gets overlooked. Only place in the north that gets sone attention, is Machester. Leeds has potential but they even stopped the new airport which would have given Leeds a bit of a much needed lift from its provincial status.
