Love a bit of Gomez, saw them in 98 at the Hammersmith Apollo. Aren’t they posh scousers though?

And used to love a Manchester night out; Castledield bar scene was good fun

I think they are from Southport or somewhere round there. Is that posh? I actually don't know

I have seen them a few times first in 97 but saw them at their 10year full album play of bring it on in 2007 and again the 20 year full album play in 2017 all with the same friend. I can't believe where the time has gone

No, sadly not. Jilly's (or Rockworld as it got rebranded with a name NOBODY used lol) closed well over a decade ago. Longer even.

Shame, had some great nights out there back in the 90s

When do get chance to visit Manchester usually end up in either the Salisbury or Big Hands both on/near Oxford Rd as usually going to a gig at The Ritz or the Academies
