Those who menstrate with genital piercings

Anyone else find that their downstairs piercings get irrational during the time of the month?

I've had my piercing for about 20 years and never had any problems with it

However my last 2/3 periods my piercing is SO irritated and annoying, but then as soon as my cycle is finished it goes back to normal?

I don't get any irritation from my labia piercings during that time.
